Baltimore City homicide detectives on Monday arrested a 21-year-old woman in connection with the death of a 47-year-old woman in 2000 block of Baker Street.
Detectives arrested Leah Harrison in connection with the stabbing death of Veronica Freeman, who was pronounced dead around 12:08 p.m. in the home where the two lived together.
Harrison was taken to the Baltimore Police Department’s Homicide Section, where she was interviewed. Eventually, she was taken to Central Booking and charged with first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and deadly weapons charges, police said.
Police said Harrison was waiting to see a court administrator.
