Anne Arundel County Police on Thursday continued a search for a shooter who gunned down a 28-year-old man in the 300 block of Morris Hill Avenue in Glen Burnie.
Police said Xavier John Arthur Green was shot around 6:03 p.m. Monday on Morris Hill Avenue. Officers performed CPR on Green but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Tuesday, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy and concluded that his cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.
Anne Arundel County Homicide detectives and the Evidence Collection Unit, who both responded to the crime scene, found several pieces of evidence. Authorities said interviews with several witnesses confirmed that the shooter was an African American man wearing a light-colored shirt with dark pants.
