A person was injured in an Essex shooting Thursday, police said, adding that the individual is expected to survive.
Police said that as of now they believe the incident occurred “in a field near Kings Mill Apartments and Townhomes in the 1400 block of Hadwick Drive.”
Police said they were dispatched to the local hospital the victim was taken to around 8:17 p.m. Thursday. The Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit detectives are still investigating the situation, police said.
