A Baltimore County grand jury indicted two suspects yesterday in the shooting of multiple vehicles in Sparks, Maryland, police said.

Tyler James Getz, 18, of the unit block of Loveton Farms Court in Sparks and Timothy Allen Staples, 17, of the 19000 block of Gunpowder Road in Sparks, were both charged with multiple counts of first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and malicious destruction of property, police said.

The shootings occurred on Phoenix Road near York Road on Aug. 24, police said.

The first victim reported her rear passenger side window was struck as she was driving. Over a one-hour time period at least five vehicles were struck by gunfire, including one of the unmarked police vehicles that was searching for the suspect, police said.

Both suspects were released on a $10,000 bond.
