Man dies after suffering gunshot wounds last week

A shooting of a 26-year-old male at the intersection of the 200 North Broadway Street and Gough Street in Baltimore March 8 has since been upgraded to a homicide when the victim died, police said.

Police officers found the victim on a City Circulator bus with gunshot wounds to the stomach. The victim was moved to an area hospital in critical condition where he died of his injuries, police said.

The shooting suspect is reported to be an African-American male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes with white soles, police said. The suspect was last seen running on Gough Street towards Perkins Homes, police said.

Homicide detectives are asking for information regarding the homicide to be reported to 410-396-2100. Tips can be texted to 443-902-4824 or called into Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
