A 25-year-old Reisterstown man is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center after his arrest early Thursday on charges related to a shooting two days earlier at the Foundry Row shopping center, police said.

Rashard Gabriel Williams, 25, of the 600 block of Beverly Road, was charged with shooting a 21-year-old man he allegedly had a confrontation with in the parking lot. Williams faces one count of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, armed robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, Baltimore County police said.

Police said Williams shot the victim at least once in the upper body and stole personal items before fleeing the scene. The victim also left the scene in route to Northwest Hospital for treatment, where he was later located by police.

The victim is expected to survive his injuries, police said.

Williams is being held without bond. The Violent Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
