A Baltimore man was arrested Sunday in connection with the shooting of a 30-year-old man earlier the same day, city police said.
According to police, Antonio Chase, 32, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault and various handgun violations.
When the suspect was arrested, officers seized a loaded weapon from him, police said, adding that the suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
Police said the shooting occurred near Lexington Market around 11:20 a.m. Sunday. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for his non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
