One person was killed and three others were injured in a single-vehicle crash Friday night in Cockeysville, county police said.
An adult passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A juvenile driver and one juvenile passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital, according to police.
A second juvenile passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported for treatment.
Police said the incident occurred at the intersection of Poplar Hill Road and Merrymans Mill Road at approximately 9:45 p.m. after a vehicle traveling southbound on Poplar Hill Road left the roadway and struck a tree.
The crash is under investigation.
