It has been one year since delivery robots have become commonplace at Towson University, offering students a convienient way to get their food on campus.
Students order their meal through the Grubhub app and pay a $4 fee. This gives students access to their food in all weather conditions, including snow and rain.
After launching with just five robots during its pilot phase, the program has expanded to a fleet of 25. The robots now complete more than 90 deliveries a day, with high demand from popular dining locations across campus.
