A man who accidentally shot himself in a Towson University building on Thursday will likely face charges, county police said.
The incident occurred in the 150 block of Cross Campus Drive, police said. When officers arrived, police said they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
According to police, the investigation revealed that the man shot himself in the process of robbery. The male was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said there is no active threat to the Towson community, adding that this appears to be an isolated incident.
