A 64-year-old man was killed last Wednesday in an early afternoon car crash in the 1100 block of Mt. Carmel Road in Parkton, county police said.
According to police, the driver of a 2011 Honda CR-V, Lawrence Martin Jr., was traveling eastbound on Mt. Carmel Road when the vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a 2004 Dodge Dakota that was traveling in the opposite direction.
Police said Martin was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Dodge was rushed to an area hospital but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation, police said.
