Southeast District officers are investigating a shooting that left a 50-year-old man injured last Tuesday night, city police said.
Officers responded around 9:59 p.m. to the 400 block of North Bradford Avenue following a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, police said officers found the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The man was transported to an area hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately released.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 200 block of North Patterson Park Avenue, police said. The investigation remains ongoing.
