A 49-year-old woman was arrested April 1 and charged with first- and second-degree murder, assault and handgun violations, city police said.
According to police, Rene Parks was wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 43-year-old Garreth Parks Jr. on March 31 in the 3700 block of West Belvedere Avenue.
Garreth Parks was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. Police said the incident was part of a domestic-related dispute.
Rene Parks was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility.
