A 40-year-old man was arrested Jan. 29 in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred two days earlier, county police said.

Police said Angel Quizhpi Tenezaca will face multiple citations related to failure to remain at the scene of a fatal vehicle accident.

The incident occurred on Jan. 27 in the 5200 block of North Point Boulevard in Sparrows Point.

According to police, Todd Hines Jr., 19, suffered fatal injuries after he was struck by a 2006 Ford F-250. The vehicle fled the scene but was found shortly after, police said.

During the investigation, police said officers determined that Tenezaca was the operator of a Ford F-250 responsible for the fatal hit-and-run.
