A suspect has been taken into custody following a shooting that occurred in the 1700 block of Eastern Boulevard in Essex, Baltimore County police said Sunday.
Patrol officers were responding to a call about an assault at a business. Police said when officers arrived at the scene, they received a call that someone had been shot. Officers then located a male in the area suffering a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a hospital, police said. The suspect responsive for the shooting was taken into custody.
