A 20-year-old man was shot Sunday in the 2800 block of Annapolis Road, city police said.
Police said Southern District patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 1:59 a.m. when they happened upon the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported by medic to an area hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
