Two 16-year-old girls were arrested Wednesday night in connection to four robberies that occurred on Nov. 17 along North Charles Street, city police said.

According to police, officers spoke to four victims and learned that the unidentified girls demanded the victim’s property while brandished handguns. One victim was assaulted, police said.

Baltimore Community Intelligence Center detectives located footage of one of the incidents and was able direct officers to one of the suspects, police said, adding that when she was arrested at the intersection of Light and Pratt Street, she was still in possession of one of the victim’s property.

The other suspect was arrested on an open warrant for an attempted theft in another jurisdiction, police said.

Both suspects were transported to Juvenile Booking for processing and charging.
