A 19-year-old faces potential criminal charges after a stray bullet struck a woman in Baltimore County early Saturday morning, police said.

Baltimore County police detectives responded around 5:30 a.m. to the 6600 block of Wycombe Way in Parkville after the woman reported being hit in the leg by a bullet that came from a neighbor’s apartment, police said.

Officers reportedly determined who was in possession of the firearm at the time it was discharged and said the teenager will be charged accordingly. The victim was treated at a local hospital for her injuries.
