A Baltimore man was arrested in connection with an ongoing juvenile sex trafficking investigation, county police said Thursday.

Miracle Elendu, 28, a registered sex offender, was accused of soliciting, recruiting, raping and trafficking several female juveniles in and around Baltimore County, police said. Elendu is currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The detectives of the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit, working with the FBI Baltimore Field Office’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force, began the investigation in September, police said.

Investigators said they believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward due to the method Elendu allegedly used to contact his victims.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit at 410-887-7720.
