County police are investigating unspecified threats that were shared online by an 11-year-old student at Sparrows Point Middle School, authorities said.
The student’s parents have been contacted about the matter and any potential threats have been mitigated, police said. They said they also spoke with community members and the school administration. The department reminded residents that threats of any kind are taken seriously and should be reported.
The matter will remain under investigation to ensure the safely of the community, police said.
