Baltimore City police have begun an investigation into an apparent shooting after finding a victim suffering from a gunshot wound in his home.
Western District officers were conducting a home visit in response to a “check-the-well-being” report in the 2200 block of West North Avenue, city police said.
Upon arriving at the scene, police said, the officers found a 32-year-old man with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Police said the officers had the individual transported to a nearby hospital.
