A 59-year-old Baltimore County softball coach was arrested by county police Tuesday morning on counts of rape, assault, sex abuse of a minor and soliciting child pornography, police said.
Michael J. Pusateri coached softball in the Parkville area, including serving as an assistant coach at Kenwood High School, police said. Authorities said they believe there may be multiple victims and urged anyone with information to contact the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit at 410-887-7720.
Pusateri, who also coached teams in Middle River and the Overlea-Fullerton area, is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center, police said. A bail review hearing was scheduled for yesterday.
