The Mayor’s Officer of Neighborhood Safety (MONSE) is encouraging Baltimore residents to apply to become grant reviewers to help determine which organizations will receive city money to improve city neighborhoods.

Applicants chosen will review community-based programs looking to promote public safety in their communities.

Community members who are interested or are experts in five funding priorities are encouraged to apply: Community violence intervention, youth justice, community healing, victim services, and community re-entry after incarceration.

City Residents who are interested in applying should complete the four-question application available at monse.baltimorecity.gov. The city will accept applications until Dec. 7.
