Baltimore County schools announced that they will not require fans, coaches or players to wear facial coverings at outdoor athletic events, but they must if attending an indoor event.
The school system also announced Wednesday that those who fail to comply with the indoor mask policy will be forced to leave the contest.
The school system is encouraging unvaccinated fans to wear a face covering even at crowded outdoor events. According to officials, there will be no congregating on the field or school once the game ends.
School officials said that visiting teams will not have locker room access for the fall season and must come dressed for the game.
