One man dead, two others injured in separate shootings

A man was killed and two others were injured in separate shootings across the city on Saturday, city police said.

The fatality occurred at approximately 1:43 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Caroline Street. Police said officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced the victim dead.

Later in the evening at around 4:35 p.m., Eastern District Officers found a 55-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm, police said. The shooting occurred at the 2400 block of East Hoffman Street.

Police said officers in the Northwest District responded to a reported shooting at 5:45 p.m. in the 3300 block of Garrison Boulevard.

Officers identified a crime at the scene, but no victims were present. Not long after, police said a 31-year-old male victim walked into a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip.

Detectives are seeking information for all three crimes.
