A suspect was arrested today in connection with the loaded handgun and ammunition found by a school administrator on Sept. 22 at Chesapeake High School, Baltimore County police said.
The minor surrendered to Baltimore County police earlier today, and it is believed that no other students were involved, police said. Police did not release the suspect’s name.
The suspect has been charged as an adult with weapons and drug offenses, police said.
Officers responded to Chesapeake High School on Wednesday and discovered a loaded weapon and ammunition inside a bag in an empty classroom.
