A 50-year-old man was arrested this week and charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, Baltimore City police said.
Investigators believe that James D. Wilkes shot two male victims on Sept. 19, following a car crash on Druid Hill Avenue that escalated to a verbal dispute, police said.
According to preliminary investigations, the victims crashed into another car, which led to a verbal argument. The suspect, now in custody, was operating the other vehicle and began shooting at the victims while they were in their car, police said.
The 29-year-old and 26-year-old victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital, police said.
Wilkes was apprehended and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, police said.
