Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced Tuesday a new, streamlined process for residents to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.

Under the initiative, residents can directly make an appointment at any vaccination site in Baltimore County. Additionally, the county is working to remove any barriers standing in the way of receiving a vaccine, including offering at-home appointments for homebound individuals.

The Baltimore County Department of Health is planning to post a schedule of available vaccine slots each week. While appointments are recommended, walk-ins will be welcomed.

As of today, close to 60% of Baltimore County residents ages 16 and up have received at least their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine. The most recent updates can be found at baltimorecountymd.gov/vaccine.
