A Bladensburg police corporal was being held without bail by Baltimore County police on Sunday on charges of sexually abusing a minor.

LoQune Lee Brown, 34, was charged with two counts of third-degree sex assault, two counts of sexual abuse of a minor, and two counts of second-degree assault, police said.

The police corporal turned himself into Baltimore County Police officers after a warrant for his arrest was issued Monday. Detectives said that an investigation found that Brown had been sexually assaulting the juvenile relative between last July and November. There were two separate instances of assault and they both occurred in his home, police said.

Brown was being held without bail pending a bail review hearing.
