Baltimore County detectives are investigating multiple reports of a man in a white GMC Savana van approaching young people in the Woodlawn area and trying to force them into his vehicle, police said.

On Tuesday, a white male in his 50’s was reported driving the van at around 4 p.m. in Walden Circle when he approached a group of children and displayed a handgun. He ordered the children into the vehicle, but they refused, police said.

Another similar case was reported on Sunday at around 6 p.m. The driver of the van attempted to lure a 12-year-old into his vehicle in the 8600 block of Windsor Mill Road, police said. The child refused and ran home; the driver fled the scene, police said.

The images below show the vehicle involved in Sunday’s incident.

Police are urging anyone with information to call 911 or 410-307-2020.
