Woman found stabbed to death in her Baltimore home

An adult woman was found stabbed to death in the Southwest District of Baltimore, city police said Monday.

Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple stab wounds in her home in the 4400 block of Manorview Road.

The woman’s body was discovered at about noon by officers and firefighters who were making a well-being check after receiving a call that someone had been stabbed, police said.

Homicide detectives have taken the lead on the investigation. Currently, they are questioning a potential suspect, police said.

Anyone with information about this murder investigation is being asked to call detectives at (410) 396-2100, police said.
