Gov. Larry Hogan visited two of Maryland’s newest mass vaccination sites today, one in Prince George’s County at the Greenbelt Metro Station and the other in Montgomery County at the Germantown campus of Montgomery College.
There are now nine running mass vaccination sites across the state, and four more are scheduled to open by the end of the month.
The vaccination site at Greenbelt Metro can administer 3,000 shots per day and primarily serves Prince Georgians in underserved zip codes identified by the Maryland Vaccine Equity Task Force.
The vaccination site at Montgomery College can administer thousands of shots per day.
Hogan said that all Marylanders age 16 and older are now eligible to get vaccinated at any of the state’s mass vaccination sites.
