Gwynn Oak shooting leads to arrest

A 33-year-old man was arrested for his alleged involvement in a Saturday shooting in Gwynn Oak that left another man injured, county police said.

George Scott has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and other related charges, police said.

Police said the shooting occurred in the 1100 block of Ingleside Avenue at 1:30 a.m. The victim, who has since been hospitalized, had run to the 5600 block of Baltimore National Pike when police were called.

According to police, Scott is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no-bail status pending a bail review hearing.
