A 36-year-old man was charged with attempted first-degree murder Wednesday after he allegedly shot his 30-year-old male roommate, county police said.

Police said the shooting followed an argument the two had just before 9 p.m. yesterday in the 1500 block of Aldeney Avenue in Middle River.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, police said.

Samuel Davis remained at the scene of the shooting and was arrested when officers arrived, according to police.

Davis is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no bail status and a bail review status is pending, police said.
