A 47-year-old Catonsville man was arrested by Baltimore County police Thursday in connection with an attempted murder in Clifton, New Jersey, county police said.
Police said Khaled Abukanan is currently behind bars in Baltimore County and awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
According to police, he was arrested after a 34-year-old woman was found stabbed several times inside her home in New Jersey.
Members of the Passiac County Prosecutor’s Office and the Baltimore County Police Department were conducting a joint investigation prior to Abukanan’s arrest, police said.
