A 30-year-old Baltimore woman was shot in her back this morning at 3:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Washington Boulevard, police said.
Southwest District police officers responded to the local hospital where the shooting victim had arrived seeking treatment.
The victim is in serious condition but remains stable, said police.
The victim told the officers that she was in the car with her boyfriend when they both heard gunshots, police said.
The victim then realized she had been shot and was rushed to a local hospital, police said.
