City detectives Sunday arrested a 48-year-old Baltimore man for a January shooting that left a young man injured.
Police said Gerrod Maddox was charged with attempted murder for a Jan. 13 shooting of a 32-year-old man outside of the Forrest Park market in the 3100 block of Oakfield Avenue. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he was treated for a gunshot wound to the stomach, police said.
Northwest District detectives obtained video footage of the incident and identified Maddox, who was being held without bail until his trial date.
