Three people killed in separate shootings Friday morning

Baltimore City police were investigating three fatal shootings that occurred early Friday.

Southern District officers responded to a reported shooting in the 100 block of Baltic Avenue around 12:01 a.m. Friday and found a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds. The man was rushed to an area hospital where he later died, police said.

About 50 minutes later, around 12:50 a.m., officers found an unresponsive man in the 1400 block of Filbert Street. Police said the man suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Approximately 10 minutes later, at 1 a.m., Western district officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert in the 1900 block of Edmondson Avenue. Officers found a 52-year-old man suffering gunshot wounds. Medics were called and the man was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
