Baltimore County Police said Wednesday that a Dundalk woman died from injuries she suffered after being struck by a car in January.
Police said 46-year-old Rachel Mashburn was crossing the southbound lanes of Dundalk Avenue near Center Place South when a Toyota Camry, also traveling south, struck her around 8 p.m. on Jan. 11. The driver remained at the scene of the accident, police said.
Mashburn reportedly was not using a crosswalk when she was struck, police said.
Mashburn was rushed by medics to the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and later relocated to the Gilchrist Center Towson, where she died from her injuries, authorities said.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation team was investigating.
