City looking for alleged rape suspect

City officers are looking for a man who they say is responsible for a rape that occurred in the 200 block of Kenwood Avenue late last week, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male in his twenties or thirties, weighing between 180 to 210 pounds, police said.

The individual was last seen in the areas of the 600 and 700 blocks of North Rose Street operating a black 2002 or 2004 Chevy Suburban SUV, police said.

Police are asking that anyone with information to call detectives 410-396-2076 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Police said they believe the individual could be armed.
