A 27-year-old man was arrested Saturday after allegedly shooting a man in Essex, Baltimore County police said.
Ivan Tianto Turner Jr of the 1000 block of Punjab Drive was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and firearm use, police said.
Police said officers responded just before 4 a.m. to the suspect’s home for a call of shots being fired.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. The man was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to survive.
Detectives determined the incident was domestic related and identified Turner as the suspect, police said.
Turner was located and arrested in the Essex area, police said. He is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on a no-bail status pending a bail review hearing.
