Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed for students on Monday and Tuesday as school officials try to fix problems associated with the cyberattack it experienced last week, officials said.
The school district experienced a ransomware attack on their network information systems last Wednesday. The attack targeted the school district’s website, email and grading system.
The school closure will provide time for staff members to set up the instructional platform and to communicate next steps in regard to devices, school officials said in a press release.
Student meals will be available for pickup at more than 300 locations during the school closure.
