Baltimore County homicide detectives have charged a 32-year-old man in connection with a murder that occurred in the 9200 block of Christo Court in Owings Mills in October, police said.

Dwayne Elliott III, 25, was found shot in his vehicle on Christo Court just after 6 p.m. on Oct. 12, county police said. Officers performed CPR on Elliott before he was taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

Davon Curry of the 9000 block of Rock Ledge Court in Owings Mills was charged with first-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime, police said.

Elliott planned to meet with Curry for an illicit drug transaction when Curry shot Elliott and fled the scene, police said.

Curry remains held on no bond following a bail review that occurred on Wednesday, police said.
