26-year-old man arrested for allegedly shooting young woman in hotel room

A 26-year-old man was arrested last week after allegedly shooting a young woman in a Cockeysville hotel rooms, Baltimore County police said.

Isaiah Darius Fogg, 26, of the 500 block of Jamestown Court in Edgewood was charged with attempted first- and- second degree murder, first-degree assault, and armed robbery, police said. They said he is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on no bail pending a bail review hearing.

According to police, Fogg met the victim at the Quality Inn in the 10700 block of Beaver Dam Road at about 8:52 a.m. Tuesday after conversing with her on social media.

Once they were inside the hotel room, police said, Fogg pulled out a handgun and demanded cash from the victim. When she did not give him any cash, Fogg shot her, stole her cell phone, and fled from the scene, police said.

The 22-year old woman was treated at an area hospital and is expected to survive her injuries, police said.
