Baltimore City police were investigating the deaths of two men and the injury of another in three separate shooting incidents on Saturday.
At 2:59 p.m. Saturday, Eastern District patrol officers responded to a call from Johns Hopkins Hospital where a shooting victim sought treatment. Officers said the unidentified man suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Hours earlier, at 11:57 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at a barber shop in the 1700 block of Fleet Street. Officers said an 18-year-old man suffered from a gunshot wound. A second victim, a 17-year-old man, suffered a graze wound to his head.
Officers said the two teens apparently argued inside the barbershop. Both pulled out firearms and shot each other. Both young men were rushed to an area hospital with non-life threaten injuries. They are in police custody pending charges, police said.
Southeast District shooting detectives are investigating the incident.
Early Saturday, around 4:31 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers were near the 1900 block of Grinnalds Avenue when gunshots were fired from the 2400 block of Carroll Street. Officers found a 22-year-old man in a Honda Crosstour with multiple gunshot wounds.
Medics responded and rushed the victim to an area shock trauma center. He was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Homicide detectives were investigating the murder.
