Baltimore County Police were investigating a shooting that injured a 17-year-old girl on Saturday.
Police officers said the teen suffered from a gunshot wound to the upper body in the 5900 block of Liberty Road just after 3 a.m. The girl was rushed to an area hospital where doctors said she is expected to survive, police said.
Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit were investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and said anyone with additional information should call (410) 307-2020.
