City Police investigate shootings

Baltimore City police on Thursday were investigating shootings that injured four men in four separate incidents.

Eastern District patrol officers were called to the 400 block of Aisquith Street for a shot spotter alert at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday. Police said they located an unidentified man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was rushed to an area hospital and was in critical condition.

At 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Northeast District patrol officers were called to the 2000 block of E. 31st Street for a shooting. Officers located a 25-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to an area hospital where his condition is unknown.

Police said the victim was shot when he was approached by a man in a gold sedan.

At 2:26 p.m. Wednesday, Northern District patrol officers said a 34-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound walked into an area hospital for treatment. Police said the victim was shot on Greenmount Avenue at 33rd Street.

Shortly afterwards at 2:55 a.m. in the Southern District, patrol officers found a 41-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to an area hospital for treatment. Officers said the victim was shot in the 300 block of Bruce Street at 11:57 p.m.

Detectives in the districts were investigating the incidents and ask anyone with information to police. Those wishing to remain anonymous should call the Metro Crime Stoppers’ hotline at 1-866-7lockup or send their tip by visiting the Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland website.

Anyone with information may be eligible for a reward, police said.
