A 37-year-old man was shot in the leg while walking on York Road towards Greenmount Avenue Sunday, Baltimore City police said.
The victim was found by police in an area hospital at approximately 12:00 a.m., police said.
The victim said he was walking south on York Road when he was approached by an unknown male who attempted to rob him. The victim and the suspect began to struggle when the suspect shot the victim, police said.
The victim is suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.
