Baltimore County hosted a Super Weekend Flu Vaccination Clinic at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
The clinic officially opened Saturday with visits by Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski, Chief Administrative Officer Stacy Rodgers and Health Officer Gregory William Branch. The goal was to vaccinate as many residents as possible to weaken the grip of the seasonal flu during the COVID-19 pandemic, officials said.
The clinic is at the fairgrounds, Cow Palace, 2200 York Road, Timonium. Attendees must wear face coverings and short-sleeves or sleeveless shirts to help the process go quicker, officials said. To get a free vaccination, visitors must schedule an appointment.
