A 19-year-old female was shot in the chest in the 2400 block of Seamon Avenue Tuesday, Baltimore City police said.
The victim told officers she was walking from the area store at about 2:49 p.m. when she was approached by an unknown black male who was wearing a black hoody and gray pants, police said.
Southern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in serious condition, police said.
